はじめに Introduction
ミニバラをウッドデッキで育てていますが、つるバラにも挑戦しています。初心者でも育てやすい「アンジェラ」さん。素敵な名前ときれいなピンク色の花に惹かれて購入しました。私はホームセンターのガーデニングコーナーで購入しましたが、ネットでも購入できます。
I’m growing mini roses on my wood deck, but I’m also challenging myself with climbing roses. One of the easiest varieties for beginners is “Angela.” I was drawn to its beautiful name and lovely pink blooms, so I decided to bring one home. I bought mine at the gardening section of a home improvement store, but you can also purchase it online.
成長記録 Growth Log
購入して2週で蕾がつき始め、3週目には花が咲きました。
花びらが柔らかくひらひらしているフリルのようでかわいいです。
Buds started to appear just two weeks after I bought it, and by the third week, the flowers had already bloomed.
The petals are soft and fluttery, like delicate frills — absolutely adorable.
せっかくなので一輪挿しに入れて飾りました。
たった一輪でも、お花のある部屋はいいですね。
Since it was blooming so beautifully, I put one in a small vase to display.
Even a single flower can make the whole room feel brighter and more delightful.
ちょっとしたトラブルも… A Little Trouble
日当たりの良いところにつるバラの鉢を置いていたら、葉っぱがしなしなになっていました💦
慌てて日陰に移しお水をあげましたが、しなしなになった葉っぱは黄色くなってきたので摘み取りました。夏の植物の温度調節は難しいです。
I had placed my climbing rose pot in a sunny spot, but I noticed the leaves had started to wilt. 💦
I quickly moved it to a shaded area and watered it, but the wilted leaves began turning yellow, so I picked them off.
Managing the temperature for plants in the summer can be really challenging.

暑い日々が続いても花を咲かせてくれるつるバラのアンジェラさん。

Even with these hot days continuing, my climbing rose Angela keeps blooming beautifully.
