子どもたちのカメラで見る、はじめての韓国
今回の韓国旅行では、飛行機の中で子どもたちが退屈しないように、子ども用のカメラを2人にプレゼントしました。
このカメラがとっても軽くてかわいくて、出発前から2人は「これで写真撮るんだ〜！」と大喜び。家の中でも試し撮りをして、すっかりカメラマン気分でした📷
🛫 飛行機の中から見た景色
まず撮っていたのは、飛行機の窓からの風景。
大人にとっては「ただの移動」でも、子どもにとってはすべてが非日常でワクワクする世界なんですね。機内では、窓から見える雲や翼を何枚も撮っていました。
「見て！雲の上だよ！」
「空ってすごいね！」
その声と一緒に残っている写真は、まさに“初めての空の旅”の記録です。

🛫 仁川空港
空港の中はとても広くて、きれいで、近未来的な雰囲気。特に目を引いたのが、大きな大きな液晶モニターでした。
まるで映画のワンシーンのような映像が流れていて、子どもたちは大興奮！
「すごーい！」「あれ見て！」
と言いながら、さっそく持ってきた子ども用カメラでパシャパシャ📸
韓国に着いてから
韓国に到着してからも、子どもたちはずっとカメラを持ち歩いていました。
・ハングルの看板
・建物
・食べ物
どれも、大人とは違う目線で切り取られていて、「子どもが見た韓国って、こんな世界なんだ」と感じさせてくれます。

今回の旅で、子どもたちはたくさんの “自分だけの思い出” をカメラに残しました。
あとから見返すと、
「このときこうだったよね」
「これ撮ったの覚えてる？」
と、会話もどんどん広がります。
旅行の思い出が、
写真と一緒にずっと残っていくって、
とても素敵なことだなぁと思いました。
今回の旅では、子どもたちの「自分で見て、感じて、撮る」という体験がこの小さなカメラのおかげで、ぐっと広がりました。
大人の目線とは違う、ちょっとズレていたり、でもとても素直でかわいい写真たち。
それを見るたびに、「ああ、この旅をこんなふうに楽しんでいたんだな」と胸が温かくなります。

Seeing Korea Through the Kids’ Cameras
On this trip to Korea,
we gave each of our two kids a small camera so they wouldn’t get bored on the plane.
The cameras were light, cute, and easy to use,
and even before we left, both kids were so excited:
“I’m going to take lots of pictures!”
They were already practicing at home and felt like little photographers 📷
🛫 Incheon Airport
Incheon Airport was huge, clean, and felt almost futuristic.
What impressed the kids the most were the giant LED screens.
They played videos that looked just like scenes from a movie,
and the kids were totally amazed.
“Wow!” “Look at that!”
they said, taking lots of photos with their new cameras 📸
🛫 Views from the Airplane
The first thing they started taking pictures of was the view from the airplane window.
For adults, it’s just transportation,
but for kids, everything is exciting and new.
They took many photos of the clouds and the wings.
“Look! We’re above the clouds!”
“The sky is amazing!”
Those photos truly capture their first experience of flying.
(The dates on the photos are a bit off, though 😆)
🛫 Back at Incheon Airport
Again, they couldn’t stop taking pictures of the huge screens and the beautiful airport.
“It’s so cool!”
“Let’s take a picture of that!”
Click, click 📸 — they were already enjoying being photographers.
After Arriving in Korea
Even after we arrived, the kids kept carrying their cameras everywhere.
They took pictures of:
- Hangul signs
- Buildings
- Food
All of them were captured from a child’s point of view,
and it made me think,
“So this is what Korea looks like through their eyes.”
📷 Photos Are Treasures
On this trip,
the kids collected so many their-own memories with their cameras.
When we look at the photos later,
we say things like:
“Do you remember this?”
“Oh yeah, that was so fun!”
Photos make the memories come back to life.
Thanks to these little cameras,
the kids could truly see, feel, and record their own journey.
Their photos may be a little off-center or blurry,
but they are honest, sweet, and full of emotion.
Every time I look at them,
I feel how much they enjoyed this trip —
and it warms my heart 💛
